My fault: Ben Folds Landed Adaptation

All I do is lay here.

I think about her, how did we get here?
Wait!
It was me, I pushed her away. It was my pride, my ego. She was far from perfect but my head was somewhere else. I am the reason for my endless spiral into nothing.

50 Word Story: Dont Leave Me This Way

All around me I see cold, white, sterile, walls. Wrapped in white chains and bands. I lay helpless scared, this is where you left me. Insane, shaking, without my sense. I never knew you were so heartless to leave my mind blank like the walls that surround me. Typical you.

Lyrics and Five Elements

Title: Landed
Artist: Ben Folds
Landed Lyrics

Plot: It seems to be about a relationship between a guy and a girl. It seems to be toxic and the guy leaves. He moves to the West Coast and realizes it was his fault all along. He finally gets his act together but when he figures it all out it might be too late.

Character: The guy who left, the girl who the guy left, it refers to everyone so I think its his friends or family, the lyrics also refer to a girl who didn't let the guy know his ex called him (a sister or an old friend).

Conflict: Him leaving and trying to get her back also not getting the call.

Theme: Don't just assume your right about everything. Sit back and take a look at everything around you before its too late to change.

Setting: From all I can tell he started in the East and moved to the West then back to the East for the girl. I think it is set in modern times.

50 words story: Don't get involved

Her skin is so soft and delicate reflected by the sun, truly edifying her beauty. I look at her and the love I have for her runs deep inside of me. Then a thought enters my mind and it hits me like a truck, don't get involved with the target.
